My experience with unpleasant vaginal odor first began years ago when I was a teenager. It was well before I was intimate with a man and it was deeply troubling. I was certain that everyone around me could smell the odor and it actually was strong enough to warrant my staying home from parties and other activities with my friends. At the time I naturally turned to my mother for guidance and her words of wisdom were pretty simple. She said that every woman smells differently and that I'd just have to get used to it.
I did end up going to see a doctor who said I had Bacterial Vaginosis. She said that was what was causing the unpleasant odor and she gave me a prescription for some antibiotics. I took them and it did seem to help. That was the first of many episodes for me though and eventually it reached a point where the antibiotics just weren't making a difference.
I realized I needed to try something new when the problem began to interfere with my intimate time with my husband. I was so embarrassed by the smell and I just couldn't bring myself to make love with him. It was frustrating for us both.
I had tried almost everything and then found this. It worked for me and honestly it changed so much about my life. For a long time I felt so self conscious. I don't anymore.
Bad vaginal odor is a non-issue for me now. It can be for you too.
